Terms of Service

By accessing or using The Rase ("the Platform"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree with any part of these Terms, you must not use the Platform.

These Terms apply to all users of the Platform, including job seekers, employers, recruiters, and visitors. We reserve the right to update these Terms at any time. Continued use of the Platform after any changes constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.

The Rase is an AI-powered career and hiring platform that connects job seekers with employers in Bangladesh. Our services include:

Job listings: Employers can post job openings; job seekers can search and apply for roles.

Company profiles and reviews: Job seekers can research companies and submit anonymous reviews.

Salary insights: Aggregated salary data contributed by community members.

AI career tools: Resume review, job match scoring, interview preparation, and career guidance.

Messaging: Direct communication between candidates and employers.

Dashboard tools: Application tracking, profile management, and analytics.

We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue any feature of the Platform at any time with reasonable notice.

Registration: To access most features, you must create an account with a valid email address and password. You agree to provide accurate, current, and complete information.

Account security: You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials. You must notify us immediately at support@therase.app if you suspect unauthorised access to your account.

One account per person: Each individual may maintain only one job seeker account. Employers may maintain one account per company. Creating multiple accounts to circumvent restrictions is prohibited.

Account termination: We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms, engage in fraudulent activity, or remain inactive for an extended period.

By using The Rase as a job seeker, you agree to provide truthful and accurate information in your profile, resume, and applications; not misrepresent your qualifications, experience, or credentials; use the Platform only for legitimate job search and career development purposes; not submit applications on behalf of another person without their explicit consent; and respect the confidentiality of any information shared with you by employers during a hiring process.

The Rase does not guarantee employment or a specific number of job matches. We are a platform facilitating connections, not an employment agency.

By using The Rase as an employer or recruiter, you agree to:

Post genuine roles: Only post genuine, lawful job openings that exist at your organisation.

Non-discrimination: Not discriminate in hiring based on religion, gender, ethnicity, disability, age, or any other protected characteristic under Bangladesh law.

Data use: Not use the Platform to collect candidate data for purposes other than genuine recruitment.

Legal compliance: Ensure all job postings comply with applicable labour laws in Bangladesh.

No deceptive listings: Not post roles for pyramid schemes, multi-level marketing, or any deceptive opportunity.

We reserve the right to remove any job posting that violates these Terms without refund of any fees paid.

Company reviews: Job seekers may submit anonymous reviews of companies they have worked for. By submitting a review, you confirm that the content is based on your genuine personal experience and is truthful to the best of your knowledge.

Salary data: Salary information submitted to the platform is used in aggregate form to provide market insights. You confirm that any salary data you submit is accurate.

Prohibited content: Reviews and submissions must not contain defamatory statements, personal attacks, confidential business information, or false claims. We reserve the right to moderate and remove content that violates our guidelines.

Anonymity: We publish reviews anonymously and do not disclose reviewer identities to the companies being reviewed. However, in the event of a legal dispute, we may be required to disclose identifying information under court order.

You must not use The Rase to violate any applicable law or regulation in Bangladesh or internationally; upload or transmit viruses, malware, or any harmful code; scrape, crawl, or harvest data from the Platform using automated tools; spam users or send unsolicited commercial communications; impersonate any person, company, or entity; attempt to gain unauthorised access to any part of the Platform or its infrastructure; post content that is obscene, harassing, threatening, or discriminatory; circumvent any security features, rate limits, or access controls; or use AI-generated content to submit fake reviews or inflate application numbers.

Violation of these prohibitions may result in immediate account suspension and potential legal action.

Our content: All content on The Rase — including the design, logo, text, code, and AI-generated recommendations — is owned by or licensed to Brandsquare Limited (operating as The Rase) and is protected by copyright and intellectual property laws.

Your content: By submitting content to the Platform (profile information, reviews, job postings, etc.), you grant The Rase a non-exclusive, royalty-free, worldwide licence to use, display, and distribute that content for the purposes of operating the Platform.

Feedback: Any feedback or suggestions you provide about the Platform may be used by us without any obligation to compensate you.

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, The Rase provides the Platform on an "as is" and "as available" basis without warranties of any kind. We do not guarantee the accuracy, completeness, or timeliness of job listings, salary data, company reviews, or AI-generated recommendations.

We are not liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Platform, including but not limited to loss of employment opportunity, lost data, or financial loss. Our total liability to you for any claim shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim (or BDT 1,000 if you have paid nothing).

These Terms are governed by the laws of the People's Republic of Bangladesh. Any disputes arising from these Terms or your use of the Platform shall first be attempted to be resolved through good-faith negotiation. If unresolved, disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in Dhaka, Bangladesh.
